Good Tuesday Morning! If you are on my email list, you already know about the Deal of the Week--more than 30% off the Square Fire Rhinestone Brads. You can purchase them, this week only, for only $6.99 instead of the usual $10.95. Just click here and then go to "shop now" to get your savings!
So I have two sketch challenges to show you today. Of course, they both showcase the Square Fire Rhinestone Brads!
The first card is for the Stamps and Smiles Fresh Batch Challenge. This is a sketch that I see myself using again--quick and easy!
The colors from Pink Flamingo DSP are so fun for summer! They are bright and cheery! I used Sweet Stems and stamped them on Whisper White with Basic Black ink. I used Tempting Turquoise, Real Red and Summer Sun markers to color the flowers. Then I used the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches to make my circles. I used 3 of the "yellow" Square Fire Rhinestone Brads on top of the 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain. My last step was to stamp "thanks" from Fundamental Phrases.
My second card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. And I just HAD to use some more of the gorgeous Cottage Wall DSP and the colors that coordinate with it! (Sandy--you really do NEED this paper, lol!)
My card base is Old Olive. The next panel is Rich Razzleberry that I ran through the Big Shot with the Texture #1 plates. I stamped the flourish and starburst from Baroque Motifs using Old Olive and Orchid Opulence. The polka dot panel is one of the patterns from Cottage Wall DSP. The "for you" is from Fundamental Phrases. The finishing touches were some Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon and a Square Fire Rhinestone Brad. I wrapped the brad around the knot in the ribbon (I used two pieces of ribbon).
Well, I hope you are inspired. I know these sketches always help me get my mojo going!
Remember if you like the DSP and ribbon that you see me using, I still have my Product Shares available. Just click here for all the information!

With the new Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper, Orchid Opulence is making a come back! LOL! I only say that because Orchid Opulence is a color that I really don't use too often. But...that's going to change! Isn't this paper gorgeous? The other colors are Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.
Remember, if you want to try all of the new DSP without purchasing full packs of each, sign up for my DSP Share by clicking here.
My card for this morning also follows the CPS sketch for the week.
I didn't do a lot of stamping...I let the DSP do the work. The Orchid Opulence panel is stamped with the leafy image from Fresh Cuts. I also used "for you" from Fresh Cuts. My ribbon is Mellow Moss Taffeta (it works well with the Cottage Wall DSP) and Whisper White Taffeta that I dyed Orchid Opulence. I used the 5 Petal Punch and a small Old Olive Bloom Die Cut to make the flower. The finishing touch is a pearl from the Pretties Kit.
Be sure to check back a little bit later. I'll post this week's Deal of the Week. I can't wait to see what it is--I'm sure I'll NEED it if I don't already have it!
Thanks for the visit!

Another must have from the new 2009/2010 Idea Book and Catalog (you can order yours here) is the Medallion Background. I have several ideas in mind with this cool stamp. Today I'm sharing one that is part of July's Stamp Camp. It's really quite easy to do, but I think it packs a "wow". Friday night's Stamp Campers liked it so I hope my Sunday Campers do too!
I first inked up my Medallion stamp with Crushed Curry ink. Then I took Dusty Durango and swiped the edges with ink. I wanted some Dusty Durango color in the middle too so I took the Dusty Durango Marker (love that they are available in the In Colors!) and quickly colored at the outer edge of the circle. Then I stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. I added a Clear Rhine Stone Brad. My finishing touch was Dusty Durango Polka Dot Ribbon with a knot of Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon.
If you haven't taken advantage of the Deal of the Week yet, Big Shot Doctor's Bag for only $49.99, be sure to do it today. You only have until tomorrow at 9:50 Mountain Time. Click here and then click "shop now".
Thanks for the visit!

One of my "must have" new sets from the catalog (you can order your catalog here) is Paradise. I love these leaves and I think they will be good for all kinds of occasions!
My card for today is the technique Stamp Camp card (club members get to make two or I make one for them if they can't attend--I still have openings). It also uses this week's Mojo Monday sketch. And if that's not enough, my card qualifies for the Creative Belli challenge.
The technique we used is called "Double Bugging" from the most recent Technique Junkies Newsletter. I'll have to call it Double Big Shotting though since we used the Big Shot, lol!
Originally I started using just Certainly Celery and Old Olive ink and card stock. But, the card needed a little "something" so I added So Saffron. My main focus has the Old Olive leaf masked and then Certainly Celery leaves. I sponged with So Saffron and Old Olive. The panel beneath that is "double bugged" with the Small Dots and Diamond Texture Plates and Big Shot. The Designer Series Paper panel is from Flock Together. The finishing touches are Certainly Celery Grosgrain and "just a little thanks" from Matchbox Messages. I used the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches.
If you weren't able to make Stamp Camp this month, be sure to put Friday, August 14 at 7pm for Plainfield, IL and Sunday, August 16 at 12pm for Hoffman Estates, IL. I still a lot of new stuff to use and show you!
Thanks for the visit!

Yeah, it's Friday! That means it's Bloggers' Challenge. This week's challenge is to CASE (copy and share everything) a fellow Bloggers' Challenge member. Let me tell you, deciding who to CASE and then which project to CASE was no easy task! I decided to use Lisa B's layout from this card. I changed the colors and stamp sets and then when I was done, I realized I left out the Designer Series Paper panel too. Oops--I had already stamped my leaves so it was too late. But Lisa's card was still my inspiration!
What pulled me to this card is the stamping on the Scallop Circle Die (cut out with the Big Shot) and the actual card. I think that is a very cool effect. Once I stamped the leaves from Embrace Life, I colored them with my Certainly Celery Marker. Then I stamped the flowers on Whisper White card stock and cut them out. I used a Sponge Dauber to sponge the edges with Almost Amethyst ink on the edges and just a touch of So Saffron in the middle. The flowers are popped out with Stampin' Dimensionals. My card is finished with a piece of So Saffron Striped Grosgrain.
This weekend is Stamp Camp so I'm looking forward to stamping with all my "campers". I'll share a few of the projects this weekend so be sure to check back.
Thanks for the visit!

My card is serving double duty--it's a Stamp Camp card for this weekend and it's for the weekly sketch on SCS. My colors come from the brand new Autumn Trafitions DSP. I know it's only July, but this card would make a great masculine thank you card at any time of the year, not just Autumn!
What else do you see new on this card? Some Elegant Eggplant Ribbon! Gorgeous, huh? And it's not too feminine for a masculine card. The ribbon is one of three designs from the new Orchard Ribbons Original. The pheasant is from Autumn Days and is stamped in the new In Color, Soft Suede.
Here's all the patterns from the Autumn Traditions DSP. I chose the stripes to keep with a masculine theme and an any time theme. This DSP should be on your "must have" list. Actually all of the new DSP should be on that list, lol! If you want to try ALL of the new DSP, but not spend almost $150, consider my DSP Product Share. You will get a 12 x 6 pieces of each pattern in each of the 10 new DSP packages. Plus you will get one full sheet of the other 2 new packages. All of that is only $55. Click here for all of the information and for info on my ribbon and button shares too (purchase all 3 and save $$).
Did you miss out on Stamp Camp registration? If so, I'm extending registration until 5pm (Central) today! Click here for more information and a PayPal link. You don't want to miss it!
Thanks for the visit!

On SCS I saw this great idea using the cake from On a Pedestal as a drink! Thanks to sleepyinseattle for the idea. I used the layout from this week's sketch on CPS, but as you will see, I flipped it some (gotta love creative liberty!). If you are attending Stamp Camp, you will make this card--except I think we'll add a cherry on top (I forgot to before I snapped the photo).
Isn't that a fun idea for the drink? It's definitely a drink that you could probably only have one otherwise a headache is sure to come, lol!
If you haven't registered for Stamp Camp, be sure you do today. Tomorrow is the deadline! Click here for some more information and a PayPal link. If you don't already have the catalog, I will have them at Stamp Camp! That's reason enough to attend!
Card Details:
Stamp Sets: On a Pedestal, Fundamental Phrases (why did I wait so long to get this awesome word set???)
Inks: Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Markers, Rich Razzleberry ink
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Buttons, Large, Wide and Scallop Oval Punches, Stampin' Dimensionals

This week's Technique Challenge on SCS is a Stand Up card. There are excellent directions in the thread on SCS. What a great card that can be used as art! If you are attending Stamp Camp this month (July 10 in Plainfield, IL and July 12 in Hoffman Estates, IL), you will make a Stand Up Card (colors, stamps will be different than my example here). Click here to register for Stamp Camp today--deadline is July 8.
I kept this card pretty simple since it was my first shot at the Stand Up card. I stamped two of the flowers from Fifth Avenue Floral with Melon Mambo ink on Melon Mambo card stock for the side panels. Then I ran the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder through the Big Shot using Melon Mambo card stock. All my layers are matted with Basic Black--it really makes the Melon Mambo pop! I added a piece of Basic Black Grosgrain. My "thanks" is from Fundamental Phrases. I used the Small, Large and Scallop Oval Punches to layer the sentiment.
Be sure to check back after 11am Central Time. I will have this week's Stampin' Up! Deal of the Week! Ooooh who doesn't love a deal!
Thanks for the visit!
