I have another card I made when I went to Georgia. This one is super simple and the design can be used for just about any image. KISS--Keep it Simple, Silly (or whatever "S" word you'd like to use, lol!).
Did you think I was going to be gone for another 3 months? Nope! Still have some cards to share, but I was in Vegas for a conference (yeah, life is rough, lol) so that's why I didn't post for a few days.
My card today uses the Occasions Mini stamp set, Up in the Air. My challenge to myself when making this card was to use the more masculine Well Worn DSP and create a feminine card. I think it works and hope you do too!
When I inked up the stamp, I was carefule and inked the flowers only with Black Stazon and the butterflies and sentiment with Not Quite Navy. It's easier to use markers, but I didn't pack those when i went to Atlanta.
Stamp Set: Up in the Air
Ink: Black Stazon, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze, Old Olive
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Well Worn DSP
Accessories: Blender Pens

One of my traveling stamping friends, Jeannette, showed with this awesome website, www.pagemaps.com. You can find some excellent sketches to help get you started with a card or scrapbook layout. My card today, which I really like, uses one of their sketches.

Good Morning! As I've mentioned, the last couple of days I've been with a group of stamping friends. We rented a house just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Here's a photo of the group.
From the top, we have Chera, Lisa, Heather, Jeannette, Kim, me and MaryJo. I'm always glad to get back home to my boys, but we had a GREAT time! And...I even got a lot of cards made. I'll share all of them through out the week.
Good morning. I tried something new this weekend--quilling. I went on Splitcoast and found a card by Mary Fish that was my inspiration. I need more practice, but I think I'm going to like quilling. Let me know what you think!
My circles are quilled with Paisley Petals DSP. I added a Basic Pearl to the middle of each circle. The leaves are punched with the Bird Punch and Paisley Petals DSP. The ribbon can be yours FREE with a $50 order--it's one of the Sale a Bration items.
I'm still with my stamping friends so the mojo is still working. Be sure to check back again tomorrow to see what I have to share!
I know, I know...it's been a long time for me to post a card. But I'm with a group of stamping friends this weekend and I'm actually stamping!! I even found a little mojo! And since it's been so long, I have two cards!

Today I'm sharing the last card we made at the library class. This one is super simple and quick. If you have a lot of people on your Christmas card list, a card like this would be perfect for you.
You can see it's a "gate fold" card. On the inside we stamped the other sentiment from The Sounding Joy. The Silver Glimmer paper makes this card sparkle and I love it with Real Red. The Sounding Joy and Silver Glimmer paper are found in the Holiday Mini.
If you would like to make this card for Christmas, I can help you order the correct amount of supplies for the number of cards you need to make. Plus, with your order, I will give you the exact dimensions for all of the card stock pieces. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
