We can get inspiration for a card or scrapbook from any source. This weekend, as I was looking at the ads, I found my inspiration.
When I first saw this ad, I immediately saw some of my favorite SU! colors! I knew I had to make a card that resembled this purse.
The card is Creamy Caramel. The patchwork is layered on Close to Cocoa. The colors of the patchwork are Sahara Sand, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Whipser White and Creamy Caramel. I used the Paper Piercer from the Crafter's Tool Kit to punch holes and then Close to Cocoa Stampin' Write Marker to complete the Faux Stitching. The flowers are from Office Accoutrement (Spring Mini) and are stamped in So Saffron and Tempting Turquoise. A So Saffron brad completes the flower and it is attached with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Please comment and tell me (and other readers) where you find YOUR inspiration. Thanks for looking!
