I needed 6 thank you cards that can hold a Gift Card as well. Plus I didn't want to spend a lot of time making them. My friend, Lisa, showed me this idea for inserting a Gift Card inside the greeting card. It's even easier than using the Slit Punch, I think!
First, here's the outside. I used the Stems and Silhouettes Jumbo Wheel that I received FREE with the FREE Wheelin' Special. Jumbo wheels are so quick to make your own designer paper.
Now for the cool gift card holder...
All you do is use the Word Window Punch to punch a slot in your card stock. You have to punch once and then about 1/2 again to make the slot wide enough. Then, just adhere the card stock to the inside of your base. Make sure you don't put adhesive on the middle of the card stock. If you do, you won't be able to add your gift card.
How cool is that? It's a regular card with just one extra piece of card stock in the middle!
Here's the details...
Stamp Sets: Wonderful You, Wonderful Words, Curvey Verses, Stems and Silhouettes Jumbo Wheel
Inks: Blue Bayou, Ruby Red, Basic Black
Card Stock: Blue Bayou, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Ruby Red Brad, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Dimensionals, Jumbo Handle
Be sure to check in some time tomorrow. I have an announcement!
Thanks for the visit!
