Happy Friday! This week's Blogger's Challenge is a color combo: Really Rust, Sahara Sand, Blue Bayou and Regal Rose. It's an unusual color combo, but I like it!
Continuing with my "Parade of Retiring Stamp Sets", I decided to use Year After Year for the challenge. This card is inspired by my own card that I made a few years ago (see it here).
Year After Year was one of the sets on the Retiring List that surprised me. It's a great versatile set and covers every occasion!
I cut out each elephant and sponged it with the same ink color as card stock. Once I adhered the train cars, I added the Really Rust eyelets. I made sure the wheels were even by using the grid template in the Crafter's Tool Kit. Then I used one of the needles to "sew" the connecting ropes with Linen Thread.
Card Details:
Stamp Sets: Year After Year, Holidays & Wishes, Celebrate Everything
Inks: Basic Black, Blue Bayou, Sahara Sand, Regal Rose
Card Stock: Blue Bayou, Really Rust, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Earth Element Brads, Linen Thread, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Dimensionals
Check back again later this afternoon! I have a sneak peek of one of the projects from the Decor Element Monogram Class. I'm so excited to share this sneak peek!
