I hope you are enjoying my "Parade of Retiring Stamp Sets"! I figure I better get these examples out now since I know I won't be using any of these sets after August 10. If you see an example that you like, make sure you bookmark the page so you don't forget it!
These cards are also for the SCS Challenges this week. The first one is the Color Challenge: Almost Amethyst, Wild Wasabi and So Saffron. The second card is for the Sketch Challenge, but I flipped mine.
Stamp Sets: Big Pieces, Sincere Salutations (not retiring)
Inks: Almost Amethyst, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black
Card Stock: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Almost Amethyst, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst and So Saffron DSP
Accessories: Wild Wasabi Striped Grosgrain, 1/4", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches, Scallop Punch, Three for You Flower Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig
I stamped the flower in Almost Amethyst. Then using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the circle with flower in Wild Wasabi.
Stamp Set: Never Ending Joy
Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky
Card Stock: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky DSP, Whisper White
Accessories: Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, Ice Circle Rhinestones, Crystal Effect, Sponge Daubers, Mini Glue Dots
The Whisper White seemed so stark that I decided to sponge Soft Sky all around the flower. The tulips have Crystal Effects on them. Ribbon is attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
The "parade" will continue, but I will throw in a "sneak peek" now and then too. So be sure to check back each day--you never know what you might find!
I did put a "sneak peek" in my mid month email. I also added a cool way to use Hodgepodge Hardware (remember it's 25% off). If you don't receive my free newsletter, go sign up now in the upper left corner. When I get notification, I'll forward my most recent email to you.
Thanks for the visit!
