This week's challenge for Blogger's Challenge is Thanksgiving Day theme. I so loved my quilted stripe Top Note card, that I thought I'd go for it all and make a square quilt.
While I love this card, it may be too much with the ribbon. I'm thinking about redoing it minus the ribbon--just a little knot around the stems. I'll be sure to post it if I do.
To make the quilted Top Note, start with a piece of card stock 4 3/4" x 3 3/4". This is just big enough to cover the Top Note so be super careful of your placement when running it through the Big Shot. The square are cut 1 1/4" (height) x 1 3/16" (width) and adhered with Anywhere Glue Sticks. Be sure to put the DSP side down when cutting it.
The leaves are from Wonderful You. Only attempt to cut out the leaves if you REALLY like to cut, LOL!! And just to make sure I keep with the Blogger's Challenge theme, "Happy Thanksgiving" is stamped in the inside.
Here's a close up of the leaves. I used 2 Way Glue to adhere them and only used it on the bottom part to the leaves would be 3D.
I hope you like my quilt. I wish I had a real quilt that looked like this--I love the colors and with the cold, it would come in handy right about now!
Have a great weekend and thanks for the visit!!

Great quilt look but what I really like is how you added the leaves to the design. Nicely done.
