Pillow Box Valentine Treat

With Valentine's Day a few weeks away, I know a lot of us are looking for some quick and easy ideas for kids to bring to school or for coworkers.  Using your Big Shot and the Pillow Box Bigz Die, you can whip out a super cute idea in no time at all.

We made this box at Stamp Camp.  The box is Pink Passion stamped with the heart from Best Wishes and More.  The heart is made out of Pixie Pink card stock and the Hearts Set Sizzlit.  The "for you" is from Fresh Cuts.  White Grosgrain ribbon holds the box ends together and Linen Thread attaches the heart.

Faux Snake Skin Technique

Each month at Stamp Camp, I teach a new technique.  This month's technique is "Faux Snake Skin" which I learned from Technique Junkies.  Club members get to make 2 of each technique card.  If they can't make Stamp Camp (or live out of town), I make the card for them.  I also create a "technique sheet" for them that has a photo of the project and a quick "how to".  This is exclusive for Stamp Camp attendees and Club Members.

If you would like to be a part of my 6 month club, I have one opening left.  But, you would have to sign up by the end of this week and get your order to me by Friday as well.  All of the details can be found by clicking on the Stamp Club link at the top of the page.  Your hostess month would be June.

Isn't the Faux Snake Skin a cool look?  The leaves are from Wonderful You which is on the Dormant List (still available, just not shown in the catalog).  The sentiment is from the brand new stamp set, Really Retro.

To get the shape of the purse, fold your card stock in half and then mark 3/4" from each side on the fold line.  Cut from that mark to the corner--instant purse!

Hoppy For You--Brand New Stamp Set

Also now available is the new Decor Element line.  Don't worry, the original products are still there, but SU! has added a lot of new images and colors!  I love the new tree.  Here's a photo of me standing next to a board with the images.  I'm 5" 10" so you have an idea of how big they are in real life.

Season of Friendship--Going, Going, Almost Gone!

Today is it!  Today is the LAST day to order any retiring items, product from the Holiday Mini, and items on the Inventory Blowout list (remember some of these are current items!).  It's also the last day to get 20% off any stamp set in the Fall Sampler (with a $20 order).

I think the set that I loved most from the Holiday Mini is Season of Friendship and the Autumn Vine DSP.  So today is a farewell salute to this "beautiful, must have, you better get it today set" (lol!)  And, since you might think it's really only for fall or winter, I have one example using it with the new Raspberry Tart DSP--it's Spring time on my blog!

Text and Texture Color and Sketch Challenge

Yeah! I found some time to stamp today.  I'm combining the Color Challenge and Sketch Challenge and retiring with brand new.  It's eclectic, if you will!

 

The stamp set, Text and Texture is retiring along with the Green Tea DSP (Baja Breeze pieces).  Then the hearts you probably recognize from the new Love You Much bundle.

Retiring sets are available ONLY until January 18 so don't wait.  The Love You Much Special is available until January 31.  Make a purchase online before January 31 and I'll send you the new catalog FREE.  You can order from the new catalog as of January 19 at noon Mountain time.

If you want to wait until February 1 so that you get Sale-a-Bration benefits, you will still receive a FREE catalog (only with your first order).  Stampin' Up! will send you one with your order!

Class Schedule

Stamp Camp is this weekend! And...we will use BRAND NEW stamp sets, some DSP and even some ribbon!  Plus, I should have my catalogs in hand all ready to give to YOU!  Registration is Wednesday, January 14. 

Also on the calendar for this month is an Opportunity Night on Thursday, January 15.  Now is the time to start your business, be your own boss, have flexibility and earn EXTRA money to help in these difficult financial times.  Everyone that attends and signs up that evening will get a gift from me.  Please RSVP by tomorrow.  We will start promptly at 7pm.

Good Friend Sneak Peek!!

Hello All!  I'm back from Leadership and I can't wait for 2009 to continue on!  Let me show you a sneak peek first and then I'll share some announcements!

 

In our Leadership bags, we received the new Good Friend stamp set, Good Morning Sunshine DSP (just go ahead and put this on your list now--you will NEED it, lol), and On Board So Tweet.

These three cards were part of the Make and Takes.  The colors are Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango and Summer Sun.  The owl is actually chip board covered with the Good Morning Sunshine DSP.  Aren't these adorable?  Remember, if you need a new catalog (club members and past club members will receive one automatically), email me with your phone and a good time to call you.  I call you and make arrangements with you!

Now for the announcements!

Digital Scrapbooking!!! Yes, you read me right!  Stampin' Up! will offer "My Digital Studio" some time later this year (a lauch date has not been set).  My Digital Studio will be compatible with PC or Mac users and operates very much like Microsoft Word.  It is VERY user friendly.  What sets OUR software apart from all the others is the artwork is exclusive to SU! as are the elements and colors.

Plus, you can add "real" elements to a digital scrapbook page. This is called "hybrid" scrapping.  You make a page using the My Digital Studio and then you can add your own elements on top!  I know that I am super excited about this program!  I will keep you posted as to the launch date, but if you are in the market for a digital scrapbooking program, hold off until you see what SU! has to offer!

Decor Elements!!!! Not only has SU! expanded their images (a link will be available January 19), but in the next few months (sorry no set date), you will be able to order CUSTOMIZED wording.  YOU will choose what words you would like AND the font (size,style and color)!  These are all the details I have for now, but I will keep you posted on this as well!
