My Mom sent me an email that had several photos of different flowers and inspirational thoughts. When I saw this flower...
I thought about the example in the new Spring/Summer Idea Book and Catalog using Pick a Petal. So combining those two inspirations, I came up with my own card. I also incorporated the SCS Color Challenge.
I stamped the two front petals, masked them and then stamped the rest of the petals. I used Black Stazon ink on Watercolor paper. I watercolored my flower using Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Garden Green. The "water" is made with Aqua Painters and Pacific Point and Garden Green ink. The lily pads are Garden Green Wide Oval Punches that have texture with the Direct to Paper technique. Lastly, the little flowers are Boho Blossoms punched with Baja Breeze and sponged with Pacific Point.
Are you looking at your Pick a Petal a little differently now? Or did you just add it to your wish list? LOL! I'm always happy to enable!
Thanks for the visit!
