I participated in a new catalog swap just recently. The focal image had to be a new stamp set so I chose Bird on a Branch. But I couldn't stop there with the new toys. I also used the new Movers and Shapers Curly Label Die and one of the new SU! Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate with my Big Shot.
Do you recognize this color combo? I used it on this Stamp Camp project too. My Sage Shadow card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Movers and Shapers Curly Label Die first. Then I dry embossed it with the SU! Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate.
I stamped the bird first with Riding Hood Red ink and then masked it. Using the Stamp-a-ma-Jig, I placed the branch exactly where I wanted it. Then I added leaves in Sage Shadow. This image is punched out with the Curly Label Punch and then adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The final touch is a bow of Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon.
If you want to make this card, here's what you need:
Stamp Set: Bird on a Branch
Inks: Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow
Card Stock: Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow
Accessories: Big Shot, Movers and Shapers Curly Label Die, SU! Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates, Curly Label Punch, Chocolate Chip Taffeta
Hope you like the card and that it inspires to go STAMP!
Thanks for the visit!
