Bloggers' Challenge Inspiration
Happy Friday and Blogger's Challenge! Today's theme is an inspiration piece. What I love about the inspiration challenges is that the possibilities are really endless. When you look at the inspiration piece, what do you see? I saw the damask pattern and silk. Those are the two elements I focused on.
Here's the inspiration piece...
Here's my card...
I think the Parisian Breeze DSP is the perfect match as far as the damask pattern goes. And then I added a little of the Valet Ribbon Originals to the corners to add a touch of silk.
So when you look at an inspiration piece, don't think of colors only. Your inspiration can be anything! Do you want to play along? Just a leave a comment with a link to your card and I'll be sure to check it out!
If you want to try the Parisian Breeze DSP or the Valet Ribbon Originals, be sure to check out my product share here.
Thanks for the visit!!

Very pretty card Sheryl! I love that paper and thanks for the advice not to concentrate so much on the colors which I do too often ;-)

Great card Sheryl. Yes that paper worked perfectly for the Damask pattern. I'm glad you mentioned not concentrating on the colors of the Inspiration piece (that helped me after I decided to go with a different color scheme). Love the addition of the Satin ribbon.

Lovely! And you are right....having an inspiration piece/photo/whatever, doesn't mean that that we need to duplicate it exactly. Many of us seem to stick to the color scheme.....I love that you have stepped outside of that. Great card.
