Here's another card using Just Beachy that I created for my upline's event. To get the fish lined up, you really need to use the Stamp-a-ma-Jig. I also made sure my card stock (4"x 4") was on the my grid paper evenly so that I could get one fish centered in each 1" square. I think I got it pretty even.
I used the Piercing Spotlight technique from Technique Junkies. I like to use the Seeing Spots Brass Template to evenly pierce my circle. I really like this technique!
I had to use the Stamp-a-ma-Jig for the Birthday Greeting as well. I used a Blender Pen filled with Baja Breeze to color in "birthday". Then I used a Blender Pen and Kiwi Kiss ink to color the "ishes" part and lined it up with the Stamp-a-ma-Jig before stamping. Then I colored the "F" with Baja Breeze and again lined it up with the Stamp-a-ma-Jig.
I punched out the sentiment with the Large Oval Punch and then layered it onto a Baja Breeze Scallop Oval Punch. The Scallop Oval Punch is in the new Occasions Mini catalog and will be available April 1. It's a must have punch! Here's a close up.
This layout would work with solid stamps too and each one could be a different color. Go look at your stamp stash and see what you can come up with!
Here's what you need to make this card.
Stamp Set: Just Beachy, Sincere Salutations
Card Stock: Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-Jig, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Blender Pens, Scallop Edge Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals
Check back later today. I'm working on the new CPS sketch, which will also be one of April's Stamp Camp projects.
Thanks for the visit!
