Happy Friday! You know what that means--Bloggers' Challenge! This week's theme is to use Texturz Plates or Dies. I was going to try to work both of them in, but decided to use DSP instead of the Texturz Plates.
As I told you yesterday, this card is for my sister's birthday. Her birthday isn't until Monday, but we celebrated it last night when I saw her. She liked the card--especially the pearls.
I probably should have taken a side view photo, but if you look closely at the left side of the butterfly, you can see a second layer. What I did was cut out two butterflies (one from the Urban Garden DSP and one from Baja Breeze) and layered them together with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I sponged around the DSP butterfly. It's a very cool effect. If you like butterflies, you'd love the exclusive SU! Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die! You can make 4 different size butterflies! One of my favorites to use with the Big Shot.
Did you catch the sneak peek on this card? Look at that cool Scallop Oval Punch! Woo Hoo! And...there's a stamp set, Oval All, to coordinate with it.
But, let's not move forward too fast! There's still plenty of FREE to earn with Sale-a-Bration!! Just a few short days left to earn your sets free!
If you want to make this card, here's what you need.
Stamp Sets: Fifth Ave Floral, Sincere Salutations
Card Stock: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Urban Garden DSP
Ink: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss Baja Breeze (sponge only)
Accessories: Big Shot, SU! Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die, Scallop Oval Punch (available April 1), Large Oval Punch, Pretties Kit, White Organdy Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals
I have some girls coming over just to stamp. I love these nights--I get to stamp and there's ALWAYS a lot of laughing going on!
Have a great weekend and thanks for the visit!
