I had time to play today (as you can tell by the number of posts, lol). I've had this idea in my mind for a few days now and decided to make it happen. I call this "Bob Bass"--you know, the talking Bass Fish on a plaque. I think this will make a perfect birthday card for my brother.
This card kind of cracks me up. Too bad I can't make the fish sing like the real ones do, lol!
The "wooden plaque" is from the soon to be available Matchbox Bigz XL Die (will be available April 1). Not only do you get the box and sleeve (see example here), but 3 labels too. I ran the die through my Big Shot with Close to Cocoa card stock. Then I used Direct to Paper to add the grain.
My fish is stamped with Black Stazon on Watercolor paper and added to the plaque with a Stampin' Dimensional. He's colored with Green Galore and Brilliant Blue.
I also ran the Brilliant Blue card stock through the Big Shot with the SU! Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate. Here's a close up to see the dots better.
OK. No more posts for today, but come back tomorrow (Monday) and I'll have some more to share with you.
Here's what you need to make this card.
Stamp Sets: Just Beachy, All Holidays

Thanks for the visit!
