My niece's 21st birthday is Thursday so I thought using Cheers to You would be perfect for her card. I hadn't decided on a layout until I saw on Lisa's blog another website that offers weekly sketches. So I went over to The Fresh Batch and found this week's sketch.
My colors come from SCS Color Challenge for the week: Basic Gray, Rose Red and Pink Pirouette.
I stamped my image with Basic Gray (it's waterproof) on Watercolor Paper. I used reinkers to watercolor the image. I punched out the image with my 1 3/4" Circle Punch. Then the layers are made with the Circle Scissors Plus. I also used my Big Shot and the Large Dot Texture Plate on two of the layers.
Details:
Stamp Set: Cheers to You
Ink: Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Kiwi Kiss (leaves of strawberry only)
Card Stock: Rose Red, Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, Watercolor Paper, Bella Rosa DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Large Dot Texture Plate, Circle Scissors Plus, Circle Punches: Scallop, 1 1/4", 1 3/8" and 1 3/4", Rose Red Grosgrain, AquaPainter, Stampin' Dimensionals
If you are not signed up for my newsletter, be sure you do that (go to top left corner). I always have a tutorial and sometimes I even throw in a contest!
Thanks for the visit!
