I'm up to some more challenges! This card is for the The Fresh Batch sketch just posted today. It's also for the "Green" theme over on Fun Frilled Blog. The theme "Green" doesn't mean you have to use the color green (obviously I did not) but you were supposed to use up scraps. My chard is all scraps except the card base.
Here's the sketch:
And here's my card. You'll see that I made my card horizontal instead of vertical. And instead of the top square, I have my Daisy.
There's no stamping on my card! Oh no! But, my Big Shot was put to good use! I used the Large and Small Dots Texture Plates (SU! Exclusive) and the Daisies #2 Bigz Die. But I used only the medium and small parts of the daisy (layered 2 of each). Before layering the daisies, I sponged with So Saffron and then just the tips with Pumpkin Pie. My flower is finished off with a Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Brad (these are sooo cool!).
Pretty simple, huh? That's what is so great about the Big Shot and all of the dies--makes papercrafting simple and fun! Have I convinced you yet that you NEED a Big Shot??? If not, I'll keep trying, lol!!
Even if you don't have a blog, be sure to join in the challenges (some of them give away prizes!). Just go over to SCS and start up your own gallery. Then link your challenge to your gallery and you can play too!
Thanks for the visit!
