Good Monday Morning! I stumbled across another website, Our Creative Corner, that has weekly challenges (can you tell I like the challenges??). This week's challenge is to recycle something. I knew exactly what I wanted to use--some plastic wrapping with white polka dots. I don't remember where I got it, but it's been in my "I know I'll use this for something stash" quite a while.
I combined the OCC challenge with this week's sketch on Mojo Monday. First, here's the sketch.
And this is what I created.
Isn't the plastic wrap perfect (although it was hard to get a cut on a straight line as you can probably see, lol)? See, it's a good thing we all have a stash of stuff that we know we'll use some day!! My colors, Not Quite Navy, Bordering Blue and Sage Shadow come from the Color Coach. I think they are really pretty together. I used markers to ink my sentiment.
To make my accent flower, I used the Big Shot and the Buttons #5 Sizzlit and SU! Birds and Blooms Sizzlit. My finished card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4, which will fit perfectly in the Medium Square Envelopes.
I think all of you should look in your stash and join the challenge!!
