Good Morning! I used the Random Number Generator again to pick the winner of yesterday's Clean and Simple card--it picked number 1! Tanya Grittman you are the winner! Email me with your snail mail address and I'll send the card to you right away. I do love hearing all of your comments--thanks to everyone that's playing.
Today's card will make a good Father's Day card. Using To the Nines Specialty Designer Series Paper gives my card a maculine feel. (Don't forget all of the Designer Series Paper is "Buy 3, Get One FREE"!) My sketch comes from the SCS Sketch challenge for the week.
I stamped all of my images with Black Stazon and then used an AquaPainter and ink to watercolor. I always like the look of watercoloring. Although, it doesn't make for a quick card. So that's our topic for today. If you want a chance to win this card, leave a comment on this post telling me your thoughts about watercoloring--is it a technique you like? You have until Midnight Central time to post your comment (U.S. residents only please). I will announce the winner tomorrow along with having a new card. Remember--you can win more than once!

I am new to the watercoloring, I have discovered the difference between using regular card stock and the watercolor paper. It looks much nicer with the watercolor paper. I do like the look of watercoloring to add lots of colors without having to ink up the stamps. And a bonus to watercoloring is using the Staz On, I love the smell of that ink pad! Remind me to order watercolor paper!

I love to watercolor and take the extra time to do this. The card seems like there is more of me into a card when I do this. The aquapainters are great to use also. Love your card! Very nice.

Sheryl,
Can't take part in your contest (Cdn resident AND SU! demo), but just had to tell you I love this card! I love watercolouring, should really do it more often. As you said, it's the time involved.
BTW, just signed up for your newsletter after scrolling through your blog here - you do fantastic work! Love the inspiration I'm finding here.
