Simply Said Sketch, Inspired by Nature Card and Last Card Winner!

Now that I got the "business" taken care of, I have two cards to show you today!

First is the CPS sketch posted yesterday (click on the link to see the sketch).  As I do these sketches, I'm trying to use some stamp sets that haven't seen ink for awhile.  This time I used Simply Said--it's a great spring set!

 

The Bella Bird Designer Series Paper is really growing on me--I love the colors.  And since I had some So Saffron Flower Brads, I thought they would be perfect to make some of the flowers pop!  The other flowers are colored with Pretty in Pink Marker, just to make sure they showed up on the Pink Pirouette card stock. This is a pretty "quick" card to put together.

Card Stock:  Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Bella Bird DSP

Accessories:  Flower Brads, So Saffron Striped Grosgrain

Now for my second card.  My niece is leaving for Spain in a week.  I saw her yesterday for a bit so I wanted to give her a going away card.  She's minoring in Spanish which is the reason for her trip.  Now I don't speak Spanish at all, but I went to a translating site on the internet and translated my message to her.  It was funny when she saw my note was all in Spanish--there was a definite look of shock!

 

I chose these colors because they look "Tuscany" to me and I thought they were fitting.  Plus, I just think it's a pretty combo.  The DSP is from To the Nines Specialty DSP.
