Good Sunday Morning! I have a sketch for you using the Big Deal Alpha that will no longer be available after June 30. I use this alpha set quite a bit for scrapbooking. I like that the letters are relatively easy to cut out. Plus, I think it's more of a "fun" set and that's perfect for my pages since most of my pages revolve around my boys.
Here's the sketch on Our Creative Corner for this week. I flipped mine on the side.
This was a pretty quick and easy card to make. I used Rockabilly Specialty DSP (which is retiring as well) which dictated my colors. Instead of a bow, I used the new Jumbo Grommets (Occasions Mini) and Jumbo Brads.
Just a tip on the Jumbo Grommets. After playing with them for a while, I found that the easiest way for me to attach them is with using a Paper Piercer. I place the Jumbo Grommet where I want it to go. Then using the Paper Piercer, I pierce a hole by each little tab. You can see each little tab from the inside of the grommet. Once I have all the holes pierced, I push the grommet through. I use the Mat Pack piece made for Paper Piercing as a push the grommet through. I hope this makes sense!
