Sorry I'm posting so late today. I want to share a swap that I'm sending to a fellow stamper. We had to follow a sketch. I followed it completely this time, lol!
My colors are from the To the Nines DSP (I'm so glad this one is staying!). My card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". My large DSP circle is 3" and cut with the Circle Scissors Plus. I used the oval Coluzzle to make my Sahara Sand oval. Then to make the scallop frame, I followed my tutorial found here. The only difference is that I cut off the excess.
I stamped the branch from Bird on a Branch to make it look like a tree. Then using the Stamp-a-ma-Jig, I stamped the flowers. I stamped it again on Sage Shadow and cut 3 of the larger ones out. I also colored a few with the Sage Shadow Stampin' Write Marker. I stamped the bird with Sage Shadow on Sage Shadow Card Stock. I cut him out and attached with a Stampin' Dimensional. I covered him with Crystal Effects. It looks like he has an eye in the photo, but that's just a small glare.
My "thank you" is from Fresh Cuts, stamped in Versamark and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I added a little Sage Shadow Grosgrain and Vintage Brads.
I hope my fellow stamper, Ida, likes it as much as I do!
Thanks for the visit!
