Doodle This Fancy Dress

Now on to my card...it follows the CPS sketch for the week.  The dress is made from one of the flourish images from Doodle This, which is only available until June 30.  Be sure to check out the Last Chance List and get your order in before June 30.

 

I saw this idea, to use the flourish as a dress, a long time ago on SCS.  I tweeked the idea some.  I stamped the flourish, then I traced a the medium heart from the Heart to Heart Punch to create the bodice.  The waist line is a piece of Whisper White Taffeta that is attached through little slits I made in the card stock.

I colored the dress with Almost Amethyst and Lovely Lilac Stampin' Write Markers.  Then I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the flourish.  I love the sparkle.

To finish the card, I dyed a piece of the Whisper White Organza Ribbon with Almost Amethyst.  My "bouquet" is made with Whisper White Taffeta and a Circle Ice Rhinestone.  It's backed on a 1 3/8" Almost Amethyst Circle.

This is absolutely beautiful! I love how you used the heart punch for the bodice. I did one of these cards before using that flourish and loved it!
