Yeah, I had a chance to get to my stamp room. It's Bloggers' Challenge and this week we have to use Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo. Here's what I did.
This is really a simple card. I used Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, and Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Markers to color the tree from Thoughts and Prayers. I used Confetti Cream card stock for the focal image. A little Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon finishes the card.

I used the Mojo Monday sketch as my inspiration for this card. My scale is different and I didn't add the 3 brads, but I think you can see that it follows the sketch.
For the large circle I decided to create one of my Layered Butterflies with the Big Shot and Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die. If you missed my tutorial, click here.
I used a piece of the Holiday Mini Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper for my butterfly and it's backed on Really Rust. The body is Natural Hemp.
To create the smaller circle, I used Taken with Teal and Really Rust Stampin' Write Markers to color the image from Matchbox Messages. It's on Confetti Cream card stock. I punched it with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and it's matted to a Really Rust 1 3/8" Circle Punch.

Wow!! That's my first reaction to the brand spankin' new My Digital Studio. My Digital Studio is the new digital scrapbooking program from Stampin' Up! You can create hard cover books, individual pages, cards and calendars--all in a few different sizes!!!
I've only played a little bit so far, but it's been a blast and a learning experience. What is so absolutely cool is that if you add an embellishment and don't like it, you simply delete it! I played a lot with these two pages so they took some time--I tried out a lot of different stamps and embellishments "just to see". But, if I wasn't playing, these pages would have only taken a few minutes each.
I'll show you the pages, but keep reading to find out a little more about My Digital Studio.
I will have both of these pages printed individually as 12 x 12 pages and simply add them to my scrapbook. Then, I can add a few embellishments for that "touchy feeling" part of scrapbooking. But, I may decide to leave them as is. I really like having that option.
Another option is to create a hard cover album that has anywhere from 22-100 pages. This option comes to you printed with a hard cover--and you have the option of adding a photo to the cover. What a fantastic way to preserve memories of a single event (a vacation, Christmas, special birthday...)!

I am so happy with this card that I just had to share. It's one of the "alternatives" from my August Card Kit.
My card kits consist of all the precut card stock, embellishments and envelopes for 10 cards. To see the original card for August click here. Then I create 3 more designs using all of the same materials--that way you can see the versatility of the design!
August Card Kit is no longer available, but September's Card Kit will be posted tomorrow so be sure to check back.
To create this card, I put all 3 pieces of the Watercolor Paper side by side (pieces are already cut from the kit). I stamped the flower from Fifth Avenue Floral with Black Stazon. Then with the AquaPainter, I colored with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive ink. Then I layered the panels on Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry card stock. The rest of the card is made using Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive card stock, Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper and Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain.

Good Sunday Morning! I have a card to share that's doing double duty. The challenge this week on Our Creative Corner is to create a "fall" project. Then, I used the CPS Sketch that was just posted this morning. I love the inspiration that these sites provide--make sure you check them out!
When you check out the CPS Sketch, you'll see that the panel in the middle is one panel. I chose to break it up into three to fit my leaves. That's what is cool about a sketch challenge--you can tweak it a bit and still follow the sketch!
I stamped my leaf from Paradise using Ruby Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie ink and Confetti Cream card stock. I chose the Confetti Cream because I think the little flecks of color go with a "fall" theme. I matted the leaf on Chocolate Chip. My main panel of Pumpkin Pie has another leaf from Paradise stamped randomly with Pumpkin Pie ink. I used the Eyelet Border Punch and Ruby Red card stock to create the two scallop edges. Another matte of Chocolate Chip and an Old Olive card base completes my card.
On another note...I've been playing with my brand new My Digital Studio. This is a new software program put out by Stampin' Up! to create digital scrapbook pages and books. It is phenomenal! I can't believe how easy it is to use--and how quick. So be sure to check back because I'll share some of what I've been up to.

I have a simple, but pretty Christmas card to share with you today. My card showcases several Holiday Mini products. Take a look and then continue reading for details.
I think Night of Navy and Brushed Silver together always makes an elegant looking card. First I stamped the small trio of snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes with Silver Encore Pad. Then I used the Ornament Punch and made 3 Night of Navy ornaments which I ran through the Big Shot with the Finial Press Embossing Folder. I used the new Champagne Mist Shimmerz Paint (I tried to get a better photo to show the shimmer, but just couldn't get it) and lightly brushed it on the embossed areas. To create a matte for the ornaments I used Brushed Silver card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the new Holiday Windows Movers and Shapers. A little Silver Cording finishes my card and they are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
This card came together quite easily and quickly. If you needed to make a lot of Holiday cards, this one would be doable! I know I always keep the one I send quick because I send out so many. If you would like to order these products, just go to my Online Ordering Site and click "shop now".

Good Friday Morning! Today is Bloggers' Challenge and the theme is "thinking of you". For inspiration, I browsed through the Idea Book and Catalog (get yours here for only $5, includes shipping) and came across a very cute card using Tart and Tangy. Well, I haven't used that stamp set for well over a year so I decided to make the card. I switched out the colors and added some bling.
This card comes from page 126 of the Idea Book and Catalog--isn't it a cute idea? Who would know that I used a "fruit" stamp to make my flowers? I stamped the "flower" using Crushed Curry, Taken with Teal and Soft Suede on Very Vanilla card stock. I punched out the first flower with the 1" Circle Punch. Then the middle of the flower is punched out with the 3/4" Circle Punch. The 3/4" Circles are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added the medium size Fire Circle Rhinestones to the Taken with Teal flowers (sign up for my newsletter to learn how to use the Rhinestones this way). I stamped "hey there" from Really Retro with Soft Suede--I think this counts as a "thinking of you" sentiment. A little Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon finishes my card. Card stock colors are Crushed Curry, Taken with Teal and Soft Suede.

Have I ever told you that Autumn is my FAVORITE season? When we lived in Tampa, I was so homesick for Chicago during the fall--I missed that season so much back then. Now I get to enjoy it being back "home". So this is why I can't get enough of the new stamp set Autumn Splendor and the Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper!
My card today is serving a few purposes. First, I'm getting together with a few of my downline tonight to stamp and talk business. We swap cards when we get together so this is my swap for them. My card is also for the sketch challenge on SCS.
I inked up the large leaf from Autumn Splendor in More Mustard. Then I took my Really Rust ink and rubbed it on the stamp randomly. That's how I managed a multicolor leaf! The two background panels are from Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper. I used Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla card stock. Final touches are Vintage Brads and Very Vanilla Taffeta.
