Well Scripted Mother's Day Card

I'm selling cards at work to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.  Mother's Day cards are always popular so I made a few of these.

I stamped the hat from Garden From the Heart with Black Stazon on Watercolor paper.  I also used Black Stazon for the "wonderful Mother" from Well Scripted.  I used Crushed Curry ink to watercolor the hat and then Old Olive and Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Markers to color the flowers.  The scarf is paper pieced with a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.  The background is Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and a piece of Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain finishes the card.

I'm going to hold a stamping class at my house in Plainfield to benefit the ACS Relay For Life.  I will have the date nailed down by tomorrow.  I do know the class cost will be $20, $15 will go directly to the ACS.  You will make 6 cards, 2 each of 3 designs.  I will also sell card kits for this.  The cost will be $25 to cover shipping.  I will also email you photos and directions for each card (no images will be stamped).  Be sure to check back tomorrow for the details.

April Stamp Camp Registration

Fifth Avenue Floral--Stamp Camp Card

Happy Easter!  I'm not sharing an Easter card today, but one that we will make at April's Stamp Camp.  I made mine a birthday card, but you will have other sentiments available for you to use. 

This card uses the colors from the Cottage Wall DSP (one of my faves).  The flower from Fifth Avenue Floral was stamped on Watercolor Paper and colored with Rich Razzleberry ink and AquaPainter.  A little Crushed Curry finishes the flower.

Sincere Salutations Birthday Wishes

My  sister's birthday is tomorrow.  This is the card I made for her.  I used the stamp from Thoughts and Prayers as my inspiration.

I used the leaves from the XL Two Step Bird Punch and the flowers from the Trio Flower Punch to create my focal point.  Two Way Glue works well to adhere the leaves.  Then I added some silver beads from the Silver Bead Duo (you get beads and microbeads).  The beads are a little shinier in real life and add a nice touch of bling.  Birthday Wishes from Sincere Salutations is stamped in Rich Razzleberry.  The background is Cottage Wall DSP.  I also used the Scallop Trim Border Punch--this punch can be yours FREE with a Sale-a-Bration order.

Easter Egg Card--Stamp Camp Card

Here's another card that we will make at Stamp Camp.  Actually the girls will get to make two of these because they are smaller cards.  I got this great idea from Jackie Topa.

Isn't that a great idea?  Jackie is a very talented stamper!  I used Razzleberry Lemonade DSP to create the egg.  To get the shape, I used the Big Shot and the Oval Scallop Frame Bigz Die.  My finishing touch is a flower made with the Boho Blossoms Punch and a Fire Circle Rhinestone Brad.

Well Scripted Love

Today's card features the new Occasions Mini stamp set, Well Scripted.  I love the design of these sentiments.  My card follows the sketch on Mojo Monday and the color challenge on SCS.

Since the colors of the challenge are Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip and Rich Razzleberry, I thought a Valentine's card was in order.  I stamped the flourish from Baroque Motifs with Rich Razzleberry on a piece of Sweet Pea Designer Series Pack.  I added small Rich Razzleberry hearts made with the Heart to Heart Punch.  At top I used a piece of the new 5/8" Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon found in the Occasions Mini. 

I used Rich Razzleberry and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Markers to ink up my sentiment from Well Scripted.  Then I used the Full Heart Punch to punch it out.  To get the perfect Rich Razzleberry layer, I used my Big Shot and Hearts Sizzlits.

Sweet Pea Designer Series Pack

I have a card for you today that I just love.  It features some of the beautiful paper found in the Sweet Pea Designer Series Pack in the Occasions Mini.  If you follow my blog, you've seen some of the designs already.  Today is a new one.

First, I chose this particular design because it fit perfectly with the sketch on CPS.  Take a look.

Aren't those butterflies beautiful?  And that's the paper!  My 3 strips are more of the Sweet Pea Designer Series Pack, matted with Rose Red.  On the focal image, I added another butterfly using the Butterfly Punch and yet another Sweet Pea pattern.  I added a few of the small Fire Circle Rhinestones for the butterfly's body.

Lastly I stamped "thanks" from Fundamental Phrases on So Saffron with Rose Red ink and added it all to a Old Olive card base.

On a Pedestal

I'm a few days late for Bloggers' Challenge, but better late than never, right?

Our challenge for the week was to follow this sketch.  I like simple layouts like this, especially when my "mojo" isn't quite up to par.

I decided to use a stamp set that I haven't touched for a while--On a Pedestal.  And I wanted to use some of my favorite DSO, Cottage Wall. 

Here's what I came up with.

I stamped the pedestal with Old Olive.  The words are stamped with Rich Razzleberry on Orchid Opulence.  I used my 1 1/4" Square Punch to punch the words out, but then decided to trim the bottom just a little.  My cake is made with Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write Markers and cut out.  The candle is stamped on the base of Whisper White.  My flame is a Fire Circle Rhinestone.

I did a double ribbon treatment using Old Olive Striped Grosgrain and Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain.  Instead of a sentiment above the ribbon, I added 3 more Fire Circle Rhinestones. 

Card stock is Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White and Cottage Wall DSP.

Paradise

I'm hoping a warm colored card using my Paradise stamp set brings some warmth to us!  My card is for a couple of challenges.  First the Our Creative Corner challenge this week is Clean and Simple.  While I have a few square layers on my card, I think it still qualifies.  My card is also for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS this week.  I need to participate in this challenge more often--great ideas!

If you check out the inspiration site, I used the Rustic Leaf Glass as my inspiration. 

My colors are Always Artichoke, Dusty Durango, Bravo Burgundy, Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa.  I stamped each leaf from Paradise with the same ink as card stock.  I punched the 4 background squares with the 1 3/8" Square Punch.  The middle square is 1 1/4" Square Punch.  To add just a little dimension, I outlined the squares with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  My card base is Very Vanilla.

Hello and Good Bye!

Catchy title, huh?  It's perfect for my card today because we get to say hello to Fox and Friends on January 5th (Occasions Mini) and good bye to Really Retro on January 4th!  My card follows this week's sketch on Mojo Monday and the color challenge (a great challenge) on SCS.

I stamped the fox from Fox and Friends and the words from Really Retro with Dusty Durango on Very Vanilla.  I punched the fox with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.  I used the Circles Scissors Plus to make the perfect size matte out of Dusty Durango.  I punched "hey there" with the Small Oval Punch and used the Large Oval Punch for the matte.  Other card stocks I used are Barely Banana and Basic Gray with a matte of the Nouveau Chic DSP. The final touch was a piece of Basic Gray Taffeta.

Don't forget that the Dormant Sets retire on January 4th.  Then Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions Mini are available on January 5th!

I also have a Birthday Bag to share with you.  This is really simple, but I think it's so cute. 

 
I used Simple Birthday Thanks and stamped it with Soft Suede ink on a pattern of the Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP (only available until January 4!) for the cupcake part.  Then I stamped the frosting with Soft Suede on Whisper White card stock.  The cherry is Real Red and the stem is the same pattern of the Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP.  The sprinkles are Real Red as well.  Everything is adhered to a white gift bag that I had on hand.  Then to tie it all together, I used Real Red Polka Dot Grosgrain.

I hope my coworker (who gets the gift) will like it!
