Stamp Camp Card--French Foliage

Today is the LAST day to register for September's Stamp Camp.  You can click here for all the information. 

Here's another card you'll make if you join us on Friday.  This card features French Foliage from the Holiday Mini.  To make it a little quicker to stamp, I added all three leaves (I have the clear set) on one of my large clear blocks.   This is definitely one of the perks of clear mount stamps!  My card layout comes from this week's CPS sketch.

I really love these colors, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake, for fall cards.  I have another card to share using the same colors, but I'm waiting until Wednesday to post it since it's a family birthday card.  I do have another card for tomorrow too so be sure to check back.

Stamp Camp Card: From the Crypt

Tomorrow is the last day to register for September's Stamp Camp.  All the information is right here.

This card will be one that you will make at Stamp Camp.  It features the new Spider Web Embossing Folder found in the new Holiday Mini and the new Bitty Bat Large Punch.  Very cool!!

French Foliage Make and Take

Are you coming to my Retiring Sale Event tomorrow?  If so, this is the card you will make as your FREE make and take.  It's not too late to let me know you plan on joining us--even if at the last minute you want to come on over--just do it!

My colors come from the Color Lab challenge.  I even used Jennifer's card as my inspiration on how to use these awesome colors:  More Mustard, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip.

I stamped the leaves from French Foliage from the Holiday Mini using the three colors.  Then I used the Color Spritzer (which had dust since it's been so long that I used it, lol!) and my Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker to get the splatter marks.  My sentiment is from Occasional Quotes Hostess Set.  It's stamped with Choclate Chip on Very Vanilla and punched out with the Designer Label Punch.  I used the Wide Oval Punch for the matte.  Lastly, I added some Early Expresso Taffeta.  It's close enough to look good with the Chocolate Chip.

My ping pong table is filled (and I really mean filled) with all of my retiring product just waiting for you!  It's really a great deal getting 50% of what you spend on retiring as credit towards your catalog order.  Hope to see you!

French Foliage

Today's card features a stamp set from the new Holiday Mini, French Foliage.  Autumn is my favorite season so it shouldn't be a surprise when I see a few different "leaf" stamp sets on my shelf.  You can't have enough, right?  My colors come from a SCS color challenge.

To start, I inked up the leaf with Rich Razzleberry ink and stamped off.  Before stamping it, I took my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write Marker and inked up just the edges.  I stamped each leaf the same way and since I have the clear block stamps, positioning wasn't a problem.  

I sponged the leaves with So Saffron.  Are you wondering how I sponged the leaves and stayed in the lines?  I made a mask.  Here it is.

I stamped the leaf on a piece of scrap paper and cut out the leaf.  I used my Crop-a-Dile to get started cutting.

To finish the card, I used my Paper Piercer to make a decoration in two corners of the Very Vanilla piece (this is hard to see in my photo) and matted it with Rich Razzleberry.  I used a panel of Baja Breeze and stamped the other leaf randomly with Baja Breeze ink. This piece is matted with Rich Razzleberry too and my card base is So Saffron.  Lastly, I stamped "thanks so much" from Tiny Tags with Rich Razzleberry ink.
