I love this flower set. Hopefully the girls like it enough to want to cut out the flowers! I'm not 100% sure I like my sentiment--I may have to rework that a little before Stamp Camp. But I do like the ribbon--something a little different.

I needed a masculine "thinking of you" card so I turned to my new stamp, Sail Away, and the new DSP, Nautical Expedition, both are from the Summer Mini. Even if the card recipient isn't into boating, I think they are perfect for masculine cards.
Just so happens that the colors of the DSP are in the color combo challenge on Paper Players and my sketch comes from Clean and Simple.
I used markers, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, and Not Quite Navy to ink my stamp. Then I tool a Blender Pen and drew a little of the color into the sail and smudged the waves just a bit. We will use the same technique on this card at May's Stamp Camp.

I had some time this morning to stamp, which was good since I still needed to make my Mom a card for today. I checked out some of my favorite challenge sites and got inspired. My layout follows the challenge on CPS and my colors come from CR84FN.
The Fun Flower Bigz Die was on backorder for a bit so this is the first time I actually played with it. I can see it becoming a favorite!

Good Friday Morning! Today's I'm sharing a card for Bloggers' Challenge, for which the theme is nature. This is a pretty broad theme--your stamps can be "nature" or you can use elements of "nature" on your card. Whatever you think--so I think you should join us!
When we were in Colorado, Marjie had us make a card using Thoughts and Prayers with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch and then embossing it with the Square Lattice EF. I really liked the look and thought it went well here too.

Today's card is another one that we will make at May's Stamp Camp. Registration ends May 11! My card features Fifth Avenue Floral, which is one of the sets you can save 10% on with my May Flowers Special. It also features the Flower Garden Embossing Folder from the Summer Mini.

By far, my favorite new toy from the Summer Mini are these absolutely cool Triple Layer Punches. Two are available: Doily and Blossom Bouquet. You get THREE punches in one. All you do is move the lever from one design to the next. Genius!
The top line is the Doily. The bottom line is the Blossom Bouquet. You really get 4 different designs with the Blossom Bouquet.
On to my card. I used the colors from CR84FN and the layout from Clean and Simple.

I needed a birthday card for a friend so I checked out a few of my favorite challenge blogs. On Create Ink I found the color challenge using Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. Then on Inkspirations I found a great sketch. The girls at Paper Players put out the challenge to use "birds, bees, flowers and trees."
I put all of those great challenges together and came up with this.
I stamped the smaller flower from Fabulous Florets with Black Stazon on Watercolor Paper. Then I used reinkers and my AquaPainter to watercolor them. I cut them out and used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere them.
