Paradise

My card today was one of June's Stamp Camp cards.  It features the stamp set, Paradise, which is retiring.  If you haven't checked out my promotion for retiring sets, click here.  Remember, the last day to order from the 2010-2011 catalog is Thursday!

Back to my card...I had a beautiful piece of tissue paper that I used as my inspiration.  It's in the photo as well.

 
We did a reversed mask frame (that's what I'm calling it anyways) on this card.  I took a scrap piece of card stock cut 1/4" shorter on each side compared to my Whisper White panel.  Holding the scrap piece down carefully, I sponged with Perfect Plum and a Sponge Dauber all around the edges.  While still holding the scrap piece down, I outlined it with the Perfect Plum Stampin' Write Marker.  Then I covered the sponged area with post it notes and stamped the inside.

My leaves are Perfect Plum and Always Artichoke.  I also used the Spritzer with Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker to add a little spritz.  The Whisper White is adhered to a piece of Always Artichoke and then a Perfect Plum card base.  Lastly, I used the Big Shot and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit with Peach Parfait card stock to add the butterflies.  The bodies are created with Basic Pearl Jewels.

Masculine Birthday Stamp Camp Card

My GF, Jaime, gave me this beautiful card for my birthday. 

 

I LOVED it so I decided to CASE the idea for a stamp camp card.  I wanted a more masculine card that used the soon to retire Cogs Extra Large Punch.  Here's what I came up with.

Last Day to Register for Stamp Camp

Today is the last day to register for June's Stamp Camp.  Here another another card we'll make.  This card features the new Triple Layer Doily punch from the Summer Mini and Blueberry Crisp DSP which is retiring.  My sketch is last week's Mojo Monday sketch.

Cheers to You Stamp Camp Card!

Here's another June Stamp Camp card.  I know it's pink and green like yesterday's, but I promise not ALL of them will be pink and green, lol!  I used the sketch on Clean and Simple and the color from CR84FN.   This card features Cheers to You, which is one of the retiring stamp sets.

June Stamp Camp Registration Now Open!

As you know, I've been MIA for May.  May was a month of work and baseball.  Baseball isn't over, but it's toning down a little.  I love to watch the boys play, though, so it definitely is my priority.  Since I haven't stamped for a bit, my mojo is a little rusty.  For this Stamp Camp card, I got some help from the Color Throwdown challenge and Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge.

I like these bright colors for a birthday card.  The background score lines were made with my Fiskars cutter and Bone Folder--this is something different for my campers.
