As crafters, we LOVE to make Christmas Gifts for family and friends. In this class, you will create 3 different gifts that will be sure to please a few people on your Christmas list!
The first project we will create is the Create a Calendar '09 Kit from the Holiday Mini Catalog. We will turn this kit into a book that will be a practical calendar as well as a trip down memory lane. Each page opposite the calendar will have a space for a 3" x 4" photo. You will also have space for journaling. Once the year is over, this calendar will become a keepsake!
The second project will be a CD Photo Cube. These cubes can be used for decoration or for a practical purpose such as a pencil/utensil holder. The Photo Cube will hold 4 of your favorite photos (approx size of photos should be 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"). You will choose your theme: girl, boy or Christmas.
The last project will be a Christmas Candy Jar and will feature the small Jingle All the Way Decor Element. You can fill this jar with a loved ones favorite candy and know it's a gift that will get used each and every year! You have a choice of colors: Real Red, Old Olive or Chocolate Chip.
I'm offering my Christmas Gift Giving Class in two locations:
my Mom's house in Hoffman Estates on Saturday, November 1 at 1 pm
my house in Plainfield on Sunday, November 2 at 1 pm.
The cost of this class is $35 for all 3 projects. You will get all the necessary precut card stock, ribbon and embellishments to make each project. You only provide your own adhesive, scissors and stamp cleaner.
Kits are available as well, but will not include the jar. Cost is $35 and includes priority shipping. You will receive photos and directions via emails. Kits will ship on Monday, November 3.
Registration and payment are due no later than Monday, October 20 for both the class and kits.
