Glimmer Christmas Lights

I have another Stamp Camp card to share with you.  When I got the Stocking Accents Bigz Die from the Holiday Mini, I immediately thought about the Christmas light being made with the Real Red Glimmer Paper.  So I made my thought a card and here it is...

 

It's a pretty simple card to make, but the Real Red and Silver Glimmer paper just sparkle so much, it's a beauty (is that bragging?? lol).

Pennant Parade Stamp Camp Card and Bloggers' Challenge

Registration for October's Stamp Camp is now open.  Stamp Camp will be held at my house in Plainfield on Friday, October 21 at 7pm.  Cost is $15 and as always, please bring your own adhesive, scissors and stamp cleaner.

Today's card is one of the cards that you will make at Stamp Camp.  I used the Bloggers Challenge sketch posted by my stamping buddy, Lisa.  Everyone is free to play along, just make sure you post a new card and link back to Lisa's blog.

 

 

I used Pennant Parade and the coordinating punch.  My "flourish" is made with the Paper Piercer and Matte.  Colors are Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry with a touch of Tempting Turquoise.

Fabulous Florets

I needed a birthday card for a friend so I checked out a few of my favorite challenge blogs. On Create Ink I found the color challenge using Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.  Then on Inkspirations I found a great sketch.  The girls at Paper Players put out the challenge to use "birds, bees, flowers and trees."

 

 

I put all of those great challenges together and came up with this.

 

I stamped the smaller flower from Fabulous Florets with Black Stazon on Watercolor Paper.  Then I used reinkers and my AquaPainter to watercolor them.  I cut them out and used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere them.

Fifth Avenue Floral

Good Morning!  It seems forever since I used Fifth Avenue Floral so today I'm showing it some love.  The Bloggers Challenge theme this week is a color combo: blue, green and rose.  My card is super simple, but I like it.

 

 

Can you believe I didn't even use ribbon on the card?  LOL  I told you it was super simple.

Fabulous Florets Sneak Peek

Today is my niece's birthday--Happy Birthday Jessica!!  For her card, I used a stamp set that will be available on May 1 in the Summer Mini.  The name is Fabulous Florets, which is perfect because FABULOUS it is!  If you are one of my customers, you should have received your Summer Mini this week.  If not, let me know and I'll get one to you (I have some on order).

My card also follows this week's sketch on Clean and Simple.  I knew immediately that I would get to play with my new stamps when I saw this sketch--it's a perfect fit!

 

 

 

 

I love these flowers!  I stamped them with Black Stazon on Melon Mambo card stock, cut them out and then sponged a little.  The stems I stamped directly on the Whisper White card stock with Pear Pizzazz.

Spring is Blossoming--Four Frames

My card today uses Four Frames, which is only available until April 30.  After that, you have to wait until the new catalog.  With a $20 order, you can purchase Four Frames and Paisley Petals DSP.  Click here for all of the information.

I used Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the frame from Four Frames.  Then I used the Decorative Label Punch from the Occasions Mini to punch it out.  I used the punch again with Sahara Sand and cut it in half to make my layer.

 

Just a reminder, the Occasions Mini ends April 30!  If you haven't purchased the products you want, make sure you do.  Once they are gone, they are gone!

Clean and Simple

A few weeks ago when I got together with some of my stamping buddies.  It's a very quick and easy card--one that can be whipped out in 10 minutes or less.

 

I guess part of why it's so quick is that there's no stamping!  I used the Blossom Petals Punch to create my flower and the center is a Basic Rhinestone Jewel.  What do you think?  Too simple?

Butterflies

What?  A second card in one day?  Yep--I'm stamping tonight and I liked this card so much (and it's sooooo easy to create) that I wanted to share it right away.  I used the sketch from Clean and Simple and this week's color challenge on Color Throwdown.  In my haste (because when I saw the sketch and colors I knew immediately what I wanted to create), I used Whisper White instead of Very Vanilla--but I think that's OK.

 

Here's what I came up with.

 

If I had a stamp that said "one of a kind" or something similar, I would have used that for my sentiment.  But I like this for a birthday card.

Daisy CAS

My card today is for the CAS (Clean And Simple) challenge on Splitcoast.  This week's challenge was a sketch.  You can click here for the details and to play along!

 

I kept it very clean and very simple.  The only card stock I used is Whisper White.  I added color with a Sponge Dauber and Regal Rose ink. 

I'm pleased with the way the card turned out--not really my usual style.  I hope you get some inspiration from it as well.
