My card today is for the CAS (Clean And Simple) challenge on Splitcoast.  This week's challenge was a sketch.  You can click here for the details and to play along!

 

I kept it very clean and very simple.  The only card stock I used is Whisper White.  I added color with a Sponge Dauber and Regal Rose ink. 

I'm pleased with the way the card turned out--not really my usual style.  I hope you get some inspiration from it as well.

Paper Daisies Clean And Simple

My card today is for a couple of challenges.  First the colors are from Just Us Girls.  The sketch is from Clean and Simple.

 

The colors from the challenge are Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Soft Sky (I used Bashful Blue) and Pink Pirouette.  To make my card, I first grabbed three Paper Daisies and sponged them using a Sponge Dauber.  I used my Anywhere Glue Stick to adhere them to the Bashful Blue card stock.  I added the Pear Pizzazz stem and 1/2 Circle Punch.  I stamped my greeting from Sincere Salutations.  Then I ran the piece through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I think this is such a cool technique--in real life it's hard to tell if the flowers are stamped or not.  I hope you like it too.

Love Birds

As promised, I have my Bloggers Challenge card for you.  There's no stamping!  With the punches I used, I think the message is still very clear.  Take a look.

This card is so simple and quick to make--Stampin' Up! punches make it that way!.  I used the new Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch in Whisper White.  It's hard to see, but the birds and their wings are popped up.  The heart is Real Red and is one of the hearts from the Heart to Heart Punch.  The final touch is Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

Paradise

I'm hoping a warm colored card using my Paradise stamp set brings some warmth to us!  My card is for a couple of challenges.  First the Our Creative Corner challenge this week is Clean and Simple.  While I have a few square layers on my card, I think it still qualifies.  My card is also for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS this week.  I need to participate in this challenge more often--great ideas!

If you check out the inspiration site, I used the Rustic Leaf Glass as my inspiration. 

My colors are Always Artichoke, Dusty Durango, Bravo Burgundy, Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa.  I stamped each leaf from Paradise with the same ink as card stock.  I punched the 4 background squares with the 1 3/8" Square Punch.  The middle square is 1 1/4" Square Punch.  To add just a little dimension, I outlined the squares with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  My card base is Very Vanilla.

Real Red Delightful Decorations

The Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper (from the Holiday Mini) has 2 patterns that are "flocked".  The texture of this paper is beautiful and can really add to your Christmas projects.  My card today, which follows the Mojo Monday design, features the Real Red flocked pattern.

 
This sketch is perfect to show off the Mini Library Clips, which are on sale this week with the Deals of the Week.  I sometimes struggle to use a clip on my cards, but I'm really pleased with the results here.  My Silver Elastic Cording bow is glued on with just a dot of Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive.

Wood Butterfly

I used my Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die to cut out the "wood" butterfly.  I sponged the butterfly's edges with Crushed Curry.  I scored a rectangle for my butterfly using my Fiskar's Paper Cutter and Bone Folder.  I cut out the size rectangle I wanted, traced it and then scored it.  The tracing is on the back side so it doesn't show.

My sentiment is from Inspired by Nature and stamped using Old Olive.  The final touch is a Horizontal Slot Punch from Old Olive to create the butterfly's body.

Clean and Simple Sweet Celebrations!

Today I was in the mood to make a Clean and Simple card.  I started with my Diamond Texture Plate and Whisper White card stock.  Then I added some Almost Amethyst accents and called it done.  See?  Clean and Simple!

Clean and Simple Butterfly Color Challenge

At Stamp Camp, my friend,Jaime, showed me some very pretty thank you cards she made.  They were white with 2 embossed lines.  She stamped a flourish of flowers between the lines and added a scalloped flower.  They were so simple, but yet so pretty that I decided to copy the embossed line idea.  My card also is for this week's Color Combo (Rose Red, Brilliant Blue and Only Orange) on SCS.

Before I show you my card, I will warn you that this card is not for someone who does not like to use their scissors!  lol!  I hope you like it!

 

I had trouble getting a good photo that showed the dimension of the butteflies and the embossed lines so here's a close up of the embossing.

 

I added a line of piercing too.  The grid in the Crafter's Tool Kit makes it super easy to get a straight line.

Sincere Salutations Clean and Simple

Let's start with the winner of the two cards first.  I went to Random.org and the winning number is 8!  That means Jaime Aldridge--you are the lucky winner!!!   I'll get both cards out to you tomorrow!

Now for today's card...the other day I posted a card with the Damask Texture Plate on Very Vanilla and I told you how pretty I thought it was and that it would make a beautiful card on it's own.  Well, I decided to put that to the test.  The ONLY card stock used in this card is Very Vanilla.

 

Here's a close up to see the embossing just a little better.

 

Isn't that elegant looking?  I layered Very Vanilla on Very Vanilla for both the card and the pop up oval piece.  But to give it just a touch of color, I did some sponging with Blush Blossom.  For the card base, I masked the area (because I popped up the embossed layer and didn't want any messy edges to show) and then sponged.  On the Scallop Oval, I sponged jus the scallops.  The sentiment comes from Sincere Salutations.  My ribbon is Very Vanilla Taffeta that I sponged with Blush Blossom.
